Rimage Media Kits Warranty

Rimage Media Kit Limited 1 Year Warranty:

Rimage Europe GmbH ("Rimage") warrants, to the original end user only ("You"), that the components of the Rimage Media Kit will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a one (1) year period, according to the following terms:

Rimage will, at Rimage's discretion, replace or refund the proportionate cost of any components of the Rimage Media Kit found defective within the Warranty period. A "defect" will include any disc included in a Rimage Media Kit that does not print and record to Your satisfaction. The 1-Year period is valid from the date of the applicable invoice. You must pay shipment costs of components returned to the Rimage factory. Rimage will pay ground service freight charges for items shipped to You. The minimum number of media discs that can be returned to Rimage for replacement or refund is twenty-five (25). However, the twenty-five (25) disc minimum may be combined over several lots or shipments. Rimage reserves the right to disapprove a customer complaint.

 

This Warranty DOES NOT include the following:

  • Your loss of data or loss of profit. 
  • Components that were tampered with, intentionally or negligently damaged, or misused
  • that were modified in any respect
  • that have failed due to shipping or accidents, improper handling or environment, including site conditions
  • water, dirt, or improper storage
  • failure to maintain or clean the printer according to Rimage's specifications
  • or similar reasons beyond Rimage's control.

Rimage shall be the sole and final judge of whether the component has failed for a reason other than being defective, and is thus excluded from this Warranty.

 

What You must do to obtain a replacement or refund:

Call Rimage at +49 (0) 1805 746243 to obtain an RMA (return materials authorization). Then, return the defective component to Rimage with a copy of the invoice showing the part number and price paid in the box with the returned component(s).
