The space-saving FILMSTATION™ UP-DF750 delivers across multiple radiology applications, including Mammography.
Succeeding the design platform of the UP-DF500 and UP-DF550, the UP-DF750 features a workflow-friendly, space-saving design and small footprint that enables vertical installation - a major operational advantage over large, centralised film imagers. Reproducing high-quality prints of 604dpi, with a maximum of 3.8+ using high-density film, the UP-DF750 is a particularly suitable for mammography imaging. It can deliver multiple film sizes - 8x10, 10x12, 11x14 and 14x17 inch are available for a variety of modalities - to provide both mammography imaging and cost-efficient copies for ideal and patient referral. Ideal for applications that range from mammography to MRI/CT and DC/CR, the UP-DF750 equips practitioners with an exceptionally compact, versatile and high-quality diagnostic film imager.

Two Film Supply Trays to Accommodate Multiple Film Sizes.
The UP-DF575 Film Station- while retaining the same compact body size as the UP-DF750- supports four different film sizes 35 x 43cm, 27 x 35cm, 24 x 30cm and 18 x 24cm inch Sony Blue Thermal Film. These various print sizes make it suitable for a variety of diagnostic modality printing tasks. The UP-DF750 is equipped with two film supply trays, each with a capacity of 125 sheets. Both trays are applicable for all film sizes. The new Sony Blue Thermal Film for Mammography is also supported.
Reliable printing process, proven technology.
By combining a newly developed thermal printing head and an improved PQC (Picture Quality Control) feature into Sony's proven thermal printing technology, diagnostic images can be reproduced clearly and accurately. The Sony UPT-517BL Blue Thermal Film has been especially designed for use with the FILM STATION™ to provide high-contrast and high-density images with higher durability.
Environmental friendly process.
The FILM STATION™ is based on Sony dry-processing technology, which does not use liquid chemicals or heavy metals such as silver on thermal film. This frees you from the hassle of disposing of chemical or industrial waste. In addition, Sony thermal film is highly environmentally friendly because it doesn't use chemicals such as an alcohol.
Ease in use and in maintenance.
A supplied cart with rollers is available for easy maintenance when the unit is installed vertically. The film feeder tray is equipped with a tray stop so that when the tray is slid out of the imager, it does not come out completely making it much easier to refill at daylight. To refill the imager, simply slide the tray out, open a part of the cover, and place up to 125 sheets of film in the tray. A variety of data, such as gamma curve and sharpness settings, can be stored in a removable flash memory card for backup purposes. Self-diagnosis data can be automatically sent to the designated service centre when an error is detected.
