The UP-D74XRD is a compact and high-quality digital-film imager, designed for use with X-ray systems, CT/MRI systems. It is equipped with DICOM interface and it supports both 8 x 10 inch Blue Thermal Film and Thermal Printing Paper.

The UPT-736BL Blue Thermal Film, which has been newly developed for the UP-D74XRD, allows X-ray images to be reproduced extremely clearly. It has an optical density of 3.0, which is equivalent to conventional silver-halide X-ray film. To prevent interference in analysis of the X-ray image, this film also offers a minimum/maximum density level (0.2/3.2).

Colour Digital Printer

The UP-D77MD is an A4/Letter size Dye-sub Colour printer with an integrated DICOM interface. Designed to meet the workflow and technology change in today’s’ healthcare environment, the UP-D77MD is a superior product, enlarging Sony's DICOM printer portfolio. This is leading to not only better visualisation of data by 3D rendering (CT), but also more precise diagnosis capability (NM). Most of the patient image data is handled in the DICOM format and distributed over a network infrastructure. The UP-D77MD is designed to be connected over DICOM directly to medical imaging modalities as well as to a broader DICOM network.
